The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities are managed in full compliance with applicable laws and in alignment with our internal HSE Management System. You will play a key role in driving the continuous improvement of our HSE practices, helping to refine and evolve our systems to meet the growing demands of our business and the environment in which we operate.
Beyond compliance, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about building a strong safety culture. You will act as an ambassador for HSE, promoting awareness and proactively engaging employees at all levels to embed a culture of responsibility, prevention, and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop HSE Policy, Procedures and Objectives in line with applicable laws and Company requirements and cascade them within the Company
Monitor the effective implementation of HSE requirements
Ensure that all Company activities are subject to proper Risk Assessment
Identify HSE training needs, develop HSE training programs and carry out HSE trainings
Ensure that Project HSE Plans and Procedures are developed and implemented throughout the entire project life
Verify that HSE personnel assigned to projects are suitably qualified by education, training and experience
Provide technical support to Project and Site HSE teams
Plan and perform HSE audits and inspections, both internal and toward subcontractors
Coordinate accident / incident investigation process
Manage safety and environmental statistics and perform performances analysis, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans
Prepare and perform internal / external presentations on HSE topics
Develop and promote safety and environmental campaigns to enhance Company culture and awareness

Reports to: Head of Construction Department
The Home Office Construction Engineer supports the successful planning and execution of construction activities from the proposal phase through to project execution. Acting as a technical interface between the Construction Department and other departments, the role ensures that construction aspects are effectively integrated into project development and delivery.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
Supports Sales Department about new project budget/proposal, giving technical feedbacks from previous projects bidders quotations
Prepares the manhours and quantities estimation of construction activities during the proposal phase, in cooperation with Project Controlling Department
During the subcontracting bidding phase, prepares the Work Requisitions, collecting the technical documents from the involved departments/sections, defining work packages with PM/PD

In this frame, the company is currently seeking a dynamic Project Control Manager to join its Planning and Cost control team and work with a passionate, detail-oriented, and international team on developing and maintaining our projects.
The main responsibilities are:
to prepare and issue the dedicated Project Control Procedures, containing all necessary control instructions to project stakeholders.
to manage and coordinate the Home Office and Site Project Control Team, if present, ensuring that the activities are efficiently carried out according to the project procedures and the current best practices.
to coordinate the implementation of all the necessary tools and reports required to achieve the project purposes.
to issue all the necessary reports, to inform the internal and external stakeholders on the project status (project periodical status reports, including costs and revenues analysis, and any other project specific reports defined in the applicable project procedures)
to support the Project Director in analyzing and evaluating both the forecasts to completion (regarding costs and revenues) and the schedule deviations / slippages (including the proposal and the preparation of dedicated recovery plans)
to actively take part on the risk management process
to support the PM/PD in coordinating the change management by assuring all the internal and external changes are properly identified, evaluated) in terms of time and costs’ impact) and managed by the related owners.
to support the Planning & Cost Control Section Manager in the continuous improvement process by identifying and proposing any suggestion for increasing work efficiency.
to periodically monitor of and report on the professional growth of the assigned project control team (including the suggestion of any actions that could support the career path defined for each specific team member).
Job requirements
Education
Master of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering).
Languages
Italian Fluent, English Fluent, knowledge of any other language may be an asset.
Software knowledge
Good practical experience in using the following software:
Primavera P6 EPPM
Microsoft Project
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Power Platform)
SAP
Skills
Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills
Attention to detail and willingness to master project management, planning, and scheduling best practices.
Ability to prioritize workloads, problems, and the needs of all members of their multidisciplinary team.

Experience
Minimum of 15 years working experience in a Project Control role.

The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing projects. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of post-graduate experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong ability to lead project teams and engage effectively with clients.
The main responsibilities are:
Project Management: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. On smaller projects, this activity is developed autonomously within the delegations assigned by the Head of the Project Management Department, while on larger projects, the Project Coordinator supports an experienced Project Manager.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, designers, and support staff, to achieve project objectives.
Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and addressing concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
Planning and Execution: Support in developing project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure milestones are achieved.
Business Opportunities: Support Proposal Managers in preparing technical offers and scouting for new business opportunities.

The main responsibilities are:
Corporate/Staff Main Tasks:
Work closely with the Planning & Cost Control Section Manager in the continuous improvement process by identifying and proposing any suggestion on increasing work efficiency.
Provide Project Third party control on project at completion forecasts.
Project Main Tasks:
Produce Project dedicated Project Control Procedures.
Manage and coordinate the Project Planning & Reporting Team (Casale, Casale Project, subcontractor), if present, ensuring that the activities are carried out efficiently and according to the best practices.
Preparation of detailed project schedule and resource time-distributed budgets, according to the requirement set forth in the internal and project dedicated procedures
Set-up all tools and reports required to achieve the job purpose.
Monitor on regular basis the project progress and update the project schedule
Provide analysis of the critical activities and schedule deviation/slippage, including proposal and preparation of dedicated recovery plans, when required.
Draw up project control internal and external reports and presentation.

L'apprendista avrà l'opportunità di confrontarsi in un ambiente stimolante e dinamico e collaborare con professionisti nel nostro laboratorio sito presso il Centro Professionale Tecnico Lugano-Trevano.
