The main responsibilities are:

• Prepares the project engineering execution plan;

• Prepares the engineering services requisition to subcontract basic and detail activities to Indian firm.

Mechanical Engineer - Junior

Job description

• Creating 2D project documentation (sketches of apparatus with appropriate details)
• Creating demand specifications, technical clarification of offers from suppliers and their technical evaluation
• Preparation of the technical part of the purchase orders
• Inspection of production documentation
• Cooperation and coordination with colleagues from other professions
• Negotiations with manufacturers, suppliers, and clients
• Support for the inspection department during inspections of work in progress, dimensional inspections and final acceptances
• Support for construction and assistance during commissioning

Job requirements

• Education in mechanical engineering (secondary or higher education) 

• Knowledge of English – ideally at a communicative level, with the possibility to improve skills through company courses

• Ability to read technical drawings

• General knowledge of materials (stainless and carbon steel), welding, and a basic understanding of fluid mechanics or      thermodynamics
