Define technical requisitions and specifications for instrumentation and automation systems to ensure performance, compliance, and safety of Casale plants.
Procurement & Vendor Interaction
Support the Procurement Department in the supplier selection process through technical alignment and bid evaluations.
Review and approve vendor drawings, documentation, and testing procedures related to instrumentation equipment.
Conduct technical follow-up on purchasing orders, resolving any technical issues that may arise.
Engineering Deliverables
Prepare and verify general specifications, instrument data sheets, and control system documentation during the executive project phase.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project-specific requirements.
Construction & Commissioning
Supervise the installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases of instrumentation systems.
Define and approve testing procedures to be performed before delivery and during commissioning, ensuring smooth plant start-up.

In this role, you will play a critical part in the development and maintenance of advanced software tools used to simulate and optimize chemical processes. Your work will directly support the design, innovation, and continuous improvement of Casale’s proprietary technologies, contributing to cutting-edge solutions in the field of chemical engineering.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
You will use your modeling skills to create, improve, and maintain a large number of proprietary software tools used by Process Engineers in their design tasks. These tools include fully determinist and hybrid (AI + first principles) thermodynamic property packages, equilibrium and non-equilibrium models for unit operations such as columns, falling film evaporators, strippers, as well as reaction kinetics models and other dimensioning tools, applied to steady state and dynamic conditions. Tools that are part of Casale's proprietary technologies.
You will use your software programming expertise to develop user-friendly and intelligent desktop and web applications, supported by AI, aimed at improving efficiency, enhancing the design and robustness of Casale’s chemical processes and engineering divisions' workflows.

Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in process or power generation modeling; or a Master’s degree in the same fields with a strong focus on numerical modeling.
Skills
