Casale granulation process incorporates the renown Green Granulation technology developed by Green Granulation Limited, which has been fully acquired by Casale in 2022.
This cutting-edge technology has seamlessly become an integral part of Casale’s comprehensive suite of integrated solutions for fertilizer production, spanning from raw feedstock to finished products.
Three proven processes are available to produce fertilizer grade ammonium nitrate, namely:
The prilling process: the simplest and most economical way to produce solid ammonium nitrate (AN).
The drum granulation process, suitable to produce, in the same unit, Ammonium Nitrate (AN), Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) or Ammonium Nitrate Sulphate (ASN) as larger diameter granules than prills, suitable for modern, wide spreading on the fields.
The fattening process is the most economicalway to upgrade a prilling unit to either
get a granular product and/or to boost the capacity up to 3-fold.
