We are pleased to announce that Casale has been chosen by AM Green as the technology partner for the conversion of two grey ammonia plants into what is set to become the largest green ammonia complex in India—and likely in the world. This groundbreaking initiative represents a significant advancement in the decarbonization of the fertilizer industry.
This project entails the revamping of two existing ammonia facilities to enable the production of 1,500 Metric Tons per Day (MTD) of carbon-free ammonia. It marks a critical step toward achieving sustainability and addressing the urgent challenges posed by climate change. Notably, this project is the first of its kind to receive a positive Final Investment Decision (FID), underscoring its importance and the confidence in its successful realization.
Central to this transformative effort is our extensive experience in delivering revamping projects, complemented by our innovative FLEXIGREEN® suite of technologies, specifically designed to promote sustainability and support the global energy transition.
