Main duties and Responsibilities:
Definition of optimal process configuration, plant simulation, and design of process equipment.
Preparation of process documentation for Technical Proposals, Feasibility Studies, Basic Engineering Packages and leading a process team within large project execution.
Technical support to proposal activities, including visits to Customers for clarification meetings.
Technical support for technical alignment of supplier’s offer, for the assigned projects/proposals.
Site surveys and assistance to start up and test run.
Technical support to the Customer Care department for troubleshooting and plant performance evaluation.
Participation in main conferences and events.
Job requirements
Education:
Master’s degree in chemical engineering.
Languages:
Very fluent written and spoken English.
Skills:
Good knowledge of software tools for plant simulation and equipment.
Availability to travel for contacts, discussions with clients, site surveys, plant start-up and guarantee test runs.

Experience:
8 -12 years of work experience in a similar position in an engineering or technology company designing Solid Fertilizer plants.

The Home Office Construction Engineer supports the successful planning and execution of construction activities from the proposal phase through to project execution. Acting as a technical interface between the Construction Department and other departments, the role ensures that construction aspects are effectively integrated into project development and delivery.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
Supports Sales Department about new project budget/proposal, giving technical feedbacks from previous projects bidders quotations
Prepares the manhours and quantities estimation of construction activities during the proposal phase, in cooperation with Project Controlling Department
During the subcontracting bidding phase, prepares the Work Requisitions, collecting the technical documents from the involved departments/sections, defining work packages with PM/PD
Manages the Technical Queries received from the bidders for the construction works, in cooperation with the technical departments
Prepares the technical bid evaluation for construction works, in accordance with Casale procedures, collecting evaluations prepared by other technical disciplines (QA & HSE, planning, plant engineering and equipment engineering for respective sections)
Organizes the Constructability sessions and Construction Methods analysis, involving the necessary departments
Attends to risk analysis meeting organized by PM/PD for topics relevant to construction activities.
Participates in the preparation/revision of the Construction Department’s procedures with the HO Construction Manager
Collects and files the lessons learned and best practices received from site on the different projects and share with involved departments

Main duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the main interface with suppliers regarding supply progress and delivery status
Ensure material delivery to be in accordance with Purchase Order terms by monitoring and controlling vendor progress
Perform desk expediting to monitor production and financial progress and identify potential risks impacting delivery dates
Collect Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs) from suppliers
Review and analyze MPRs to assess actual progress, identify actual/potential delay and define realistic forecast delivery dates
Interface with Quality Inspectors to follow up and monitor supply progress
Regularly update the supply status report to inform the Project Manager and/or Procurement Coordinator on supply progress, delays, and critical issues

The ideal candidate will work with a group of experienced professionals based in India and worldwide and contribute to oversee and manage process engineering design activities, ensuring the delivery of efficient, innovative, and high-quality technical solutions for complex projects. The role includes providing expert technical support to sales activities and promoting Casale products in the local market.
The Proposal Manager will be responsible for managing internal resources during the entire bidding phase and, in coordination with the Business Acquisition Manager in India, supports client interactions during the offer phase in order to prepare proposals aligned with customer requirements and Casale standards.
He/she reports directly to the Business Acquisition Manager in India and ensures close alignment with the central proposal processes, methodologies and approval standards adopted by the Commercial Division.
Main Responsibilities and tasks:
Preparation of Technical and Commercial Unpriced Proposals
Coordinate internal resources, including relevant departments (e.g., Process, Engineering, Procurement, Legal), to gather the necessary inputs for the proposal preparation.
Liaise with the Head of Proposal department to tnsure the proposal is compliant with customer requirements, aligned with company standards and are prepared in line with the agreed timeline and quality expectations.
Liaise with the client, as needed, in coordination with the Business Acquisition Manager to clarify technical and commercial aspects during the proposal phase.
Collaborate with the Legal Department to finalize the Contractual Documentation.
Schedule and lead periodic review meetings to track progress, resolve challenges, and ensure adherence to the proposal timeline.
Escalate issues to the Head of Proposal Department or other relevant stakeholders when risks or delays threaten proposal delivery.
Conduct risk analysis during the proposal phase, in accordance to Casale’s procedure
Propose contingencies to address identified risks and include these in the budget and proposal documentation.
Budget Preparation
Compile and manage the project budget for the onshore portion of the projects, including all estimated costs for materials, resources, services, and contingencies.
Coordinate with the Estimating Section Manager to ensure cost accuracy and consistency with company benchmarks.
Monitor and adjust budget estimates during the proposal phase to reflect changes in scope, resources, or client requirements.
Collaboration with Sales Area Manager
Work closely with the Business Acquisition Manager to align on proposal strategies and critical contractual terms and conditions.
Provide technical and commercial insights to support the Business Acquisition Manager during client negotiations.
Support Business Acquisition Manager in the relationship with identified partners, helping in drafting and negotiation the partnership agreement and relevant Scope of Work (SoW)
Support During Negotiations
Participate in negotiations with Customers with Business Acquisition Manager during clarifications and finalization of the contracts.
Job requirements
Master’s degree in engineering (chemical – mechanical – industrial engineering).
8-10 years of professional experience in engineering company active in the petrochemical / oil&gas sector is required, of which at least 4-5 years’ experience in proposal department.
Sales attitude and customer focus paired with project management skills.
Very good communication skills, positive, self-confident, intercultural experience and willingness to travel is necessary to cover the position.
Fluency in English, i.e. able to conduct technical and commercial negotiation in English.
